Terms of Use for Snipity

Welcome to Snipity. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Snipity and govern your use of the Snipity services including our website, mobile apps, and other features or services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

• Snipity helps you capture, organize, and retrieve your knowledge efficiently through AI-powered note-taking and snippets.
• The content is processed and structured using AI-assisted organization and retrieval. While we aim for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or correctness of stored or generated content.

2. User Responsibilities

• You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes.
• You may not engage in any behavior that disrupts the functionality of the Service or compromises the experience for other users.
• You are responsible for your own content and should ensure that it complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on the rights of others.

3. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, and proprietary features of Snipity are owned by Snipity. While you retain ownership of your personal notes, you grant us a license to process and store them as necessary to provide the Service.

4. Limitation of Liability

Snipity is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any data loss, errors, or disruptions resulting from the use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Snipity, its officers, shareholders, employees, agents, directors, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns, suppliers, or licensors be liable for (1) any indirect, special, incidental, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages; (2) any loss of use, data, business, or profits (whether direct or indirect), in all cases arising out of the use or inability to use the Service, regardless of legal theory, without regard to whether Snipity has been warned of the possibility of those damages, and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.

5. User-Generated Content

The Service allows users to create and store personal notes and other content. You retain ownership of your content but grant Snipity permission to process it to improve functionality. We do not claim rights over your personal notes.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms of Use.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Snipity is registered, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The courts in some countries will not apply these jurisdiction's laws to some types of disputes. If you reside in one of those countries, then where these jurisdiction's laws are required to apply, the laws of your resident country will apply to such disputes related to these Terms.
